- Oversee medication administration protocols and inventory management
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of weekend clinical documentation
- Train and orient weekend staff on VA-specific procedures and policies
- Prepare end-of-shift reports highlighting critical patient updates and system issues
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical support experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (VA CPRS experience highly desirable)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background investigation
