Responsibilities
- Process municipal permits, licenses, and public records during weekend hours
- Manage citizen service inquiries via phone, email, and in-person channels
- Coordinate weekend facility access for authorized personnel and events
- Maintain accurate digital records using city-specific databases
- Support weekend emergency response coordination as needed
- Prepare weekly operational summaries for weekday handover
- Assist with weekend public outreach initiatives at city facilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record
- Ability to obtain City of Chicago security clearance
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays 7am-7pm
- Knowledge of Chicago municipal operations a plus
