Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend transit system inspections and compliance audits
- Monitor safety protocols across rail, bus, and paratransit services
- Document regulatory violations and prepare corrective action reports
- Coordinate with emergency services during weekend operational incidents
- Train weekend staff on updated transit regulations and procedures
- Analyze weekend ridership data for service optimization
- Maintain compliance records for federal and state transit authorities
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years transit/government compliance experience
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) certification preferred
- Proficiency in transit management software (e.g., Trapeze)
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Background clearance for public transit employment
