Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of public roads, drainage systems, and sanitation facilities on weekends.
- Emergency Response: Assist in coordinating emergency response efforts and traffic control during weekend incidents.
- Compliance Enforcement: Monitor and enforce city ordinances regarding public space usage and infrastructure maintenance.
- Reporting: Document daily activities, report maintenance issues, and submit accurate timesheets.
- Equipment Management: Perform basic maintenance checks on government vehicles and operational equipment.
- Community Interaction: Interact professionally with residents and visitors during weekend operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- License: Valid Louisiana Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Schedule: Must be available to work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow strict safety protocols.
- Experience: Previous experience in public service, construction, or government operations is highly preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderately heavy objects for extended periods.
