Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues during weekend shifts.
- Monitor and maintain server infrastructure and data center operations to ensure system availability.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve priority issues for county employees.
- Perform routine security updates and patch management to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with the IT team during weekday hours to ensure continuity of service.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software solutions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and basic server administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
