Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems during weekend shifts.
- Monitor system performance and conduct routine security audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure and network devices.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the central federal database.
- Collaborate with on-call support teams to resolve critical incidents promptly.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on new software applications and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret level).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend schedules (Friday through Sunday).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
